January 2016 news (Second part)

This will be the last news' post I will offer you for a time, I'm thinking about some projects needing my atention which I hope will be successful, of course the blog will continue working and there will be more posts...

News

I begin with a story that certainly some of us assumed unlikely to happen, because Wizards of the Coast, which already gave the basic rules of the game for free has presented the Source Reference Document (SRD) of the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons under the Open Gaming License (OGL), giving the chance to fans, creators and companies to create contents compatible with this edition and, if desired, even publish them through the Dungeon Master Guild platform.

The step taken by Wizards of the Coast of cause has caused a great stir in the fandom and publishers, giving raise to a great number of initiatives to take advantage of the new SRD, as for instance news from Nosolorol preparing the Spanish translation advised by La Marca del Este, the patronage campaign of teh game Héros & Dragons by Black Book Editions, the 5theditionsrd website and the announcement of a new game, El Albor de la Quinta Edad in the blog El Ojo de Vecna.
