As always remember you may find spoilers, so if you are playing the campaign or think about playing it you probably do not want to read more beyond this point (or perhaps you want, who knows).

In the previous session our heroes managed to finish suffered with the ogres who chasing them, bring down the fence that separates this section of the complex from the area they had already partly explored and are ready to move on to rescue the "little people" They knew lying ahead. This "little people" are obviously dwarfs that have been enslaved by the Penumbra clerics and forced to work extending their rooms.

In the next encounter the characters faced a Penumbra cleric and his orc followers that forced the dwarves to work. The cleric cast a spell of Imaginary Fire that took its toll on the mind of the barbarian Grognak and mystical Meler (something quite strange given the type of character of the latter) who fled in terror to the gate a few moments before they had left behind, although the rest was not affected and prepared to lay a trap using the advantage they had not being detected and one of them having a rope, which ended up resulting in the typical trap of rope ready to bring down the angry orc (which worked in part) and gain an advantage while his teammates were trying to recover from the effects of the spell, which achieved after a certain time.

After the effects of the illusory fire in the mind of Meler vanished he swiftly threw himself toward the cleric to attack him, but Luna pierced the cleric with an accurate arrow shot and killed him before the mystic could approach the enemy.

After freeing the dwarves from captivity and accept to help them find their leader, Thoin Hojafuerte, which is probably somewhere in this level of the underground complex that serves as the lair of the followers of Penumbra, the characters set out to inspect cleric's quarters, opening the gate protecting them thanks to the golden key the cleric who had defeated previously carried with himself (which obviously helped characters help to avoid some traps), and making some interesting discoveries among their possessions. They also realized that next to the rooms there are two heavy stone doors, the left one surely could be raised the combined efforts of the entire group and the right one don't stop disturbing the cleric Keilor, perceiving both good and bad vibes...

Having rested a while they decided to go ahead with the investigation of various near rooms, which led them to explore a nearby tunnel and find a cave in which some orcs guards and a cleric of Penumbra were forcing another group of dwarves to unearth a strange monolith. Trying to get their characters go unnoticed players made their respective rolls but neither Grognak or Meler got them, so they were quickly seen by orcs and the battle started again, battle in which the half-elf Luna "controlled" the cleric who led the orcs for a few moments, though this did not prevent Meler almost dying from repeated and successful uses of the spell Cause Light Wounds the evil cleric used against him.
