As always remember you may find spoilers, so if you are playing the campaign or think about playing it you probably do not want to read more beyond this point (or perhaps you want, who knows).
To write the chronicle of this session I was helped by Ero y Kris, who acted as assistant chroniclers during its development.
After the funny and fast-paced resolution of the previous session the group of characters went on exploring the tunnels and chambers of the subterranean refuge of the evil Penumbra clerics and finally reached a passage ending with a wooden trapdoor which, of course, doesn't inspire them too much confidence, because they feared it would contain some kind of trap (something which wouldn't be strange given previous experiences).
To confirm their suspicions Flynn tried to Detect Traps and Alanna Detect Evil, being successful both concluded that something important could be hiding behind the trapdoor, so Hassba began to think about the trap's nature and reached the conclusion that it should be a purely nechanical trap, so to activate it and evade its effects they designed the following plan: Luna shot an arrow to the trapdoor and it got stucked in the wood, Hassba tied a rope and suggested Wooster (who right now it's only a Barbarian NPC with no player using it) pull it to open the trapdoor while the rest hides around a corner to evade its effects (yes sir, very brave 👏 😒).
It ended up happening what they feared would happen, because the trap was activated and shot a series of blades which hit poor Wooster hurting him, and worst, amputating his left arm (luckily Flynn and Alanna got to stabilize him and make a tourniquet or he would bleed out).

After this incident they followed with their exploration and got to reach a cave with a great and stinking quagmire where a great and ugly ogre surprised them and didn't doubt to attack Belacqua while Flynn drew a fumble in the attack roll❗(so he slipped and lost the mace being the objective of the next ogre attack) and Wooster also drew a fumble ❗(striking himself with his sword). Trying to solve the mess Flynn began to Sing to Valion's Glory (gaining all the characters the corresponding bonus) while Hassba defended him from the monster attacks and Belacqua LO REMATABA with an attack roll achieving a critical outcome! 💥💪👏.
After resting and discovering that the monstruous ogre also kept a treasure chest (experience💰!) they went inside an adjoining room which immediately began to disturb them, because there were what seemed to be a heap of big stones... petrified creatures! as Belacqua soon discovered (adding to it that Alanna Detected Evil nearby increased their uneasiness).
They went forward and when entering the nearest room besides other petrified creatures they also saw a fog whirling up around their legs and of which its coldness began to grip their hearts while their nervousness grew... Then Flynn's Arcane Knowledge roll was very good... because it achieved a critical outcome! This outcome made him come to the conclusion they were facing a medusa, a mythical monster with a shape of a woman with serpent hair and a petrificating gaze to those unwary who straightly stare at her (as if it were something so difficult to guess 😜).

Seeing that their characters were facing a really dangerous creature players began to think about all kind of strategies so they would come out unscathed from the combat that was about to take place, going from Belacqua trying to cast Sleep at te creature which surely was already stalking them (but she quickly realised she hadn't suceeded when the creature's hiss started to echo in the cavern) to Flynn Blessing the group to increase the chances of dealing with the medusa, which just then attacked trying to petrificate the young cleric (luckily he achieved his saving throw against petrification). In the combat that came out Alanna made good use of her bright and polished shield to not llok directly at the creature and effectively attack it while Flynn Sang to Valion's Glory and Belacqua used her Fire Ball 🔥, which finally helped Alanna to cut medusa's head with a slash, although she couldn't prevent Wooster from ending up petrified like the rest of the monster's victims.

After this run-in which would certainly finish with the characters the group went ahead (not before putting poor Wooster inside the magic bag, the botomless pouch fondly known by players as "the Mary Poppins' bag" 👜, which the barbarian obtained after passing through the module La Isla Misteriosa) and reached another chamber where a high-rank cleric of Penumbra was carrying out what seemed to be an initiation ceremony in wich he anointed some novices with a reddish liquid spilled over their heads while some orc guards watched carefully that the ceremony wasn't interrupted.
Of course the presence of this orcs not much less prevented characters from launching an attack and combat was started by Belacqua, who once more casted the Sleep spell and achieved to put to sleep all enemies bar the officiant cleric and two novices. The attacks of the playing characters participating in the fray weren't specially succesful, so the cleric of Penumbra responded casting the Retain Person spell against Alanna, Flynn and Belacqua (which he managed to paralyze after failing her corresponding saving throw), luckily for them Alanna managed to finish off the cleric and Belacqua was set free from the spell effects and combat soon ended, with the group making sure that the sleeping enemies wouldn't wake up and searching their belongings for a experience increasement 💰, which in Belacqua's case, the half-elf mage played by Amaia, ended up giving her the much-coveted 🎉 level rise 🎉 of her character.
What will happen in the next session?
As is customary to say:
